Moline East Moline, Ill. MOLINE DAILY DISPATCH: MONDAY, AUG. 26, 1957 Ruth Ann Heagy Is Bride MRS. DAVID R. STIEGEL Before an altar appointed with baskets of white gladioli, huckleberry and candelabra, Miss 1 Ruth Ann Heagy, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Walter Heagy, Bushnell, became the bride of David R. Stiegel, Moline. at 2 yesterday afternoon in Bushnell Presbyterian Church. Mr.

Stiegel is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William F. Stiegel, 1418 25th Moline. The Rev.

W. W. Marzahn of Bushnell Methodist Church officated. The bride wore a floor length gown of lace and tulle over bridal taffeta. The bodice was fashioned of hand clipped lace styled with a bateau neckline and long tapered sleeves.

The bouffant skirt of tulle was trimmed with lace. A half hat held a fingertip veil. The bride carried a cascade arrangement of glamellias in a pale peach shade. The maid of honor, Miss Carol Formhals of Bushnell, was attired in a waltz length gown of aqua crystallette accented with a cummerbund and sash in a deeper shade of aqua. She wore a white tulle picture hat and carried white glamellias.

Maribeth Lane, flower giri, wore a dress styled similarly to that worn by the maid of honor. Wil- liam Stiegel, brother of the bridegroom, was ringbearer. Best man was Larry Carson, and Marshall Smith, William Harder and Dan VanTieghen seated the guests. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Heagy chose a navy sheer dress accented with navy and white accessories.

The bridegroom's mother wore a navy ribbon knit sheath dress with navy and white accessories. Both mothers wore corsages of white gladioli. A reception was after the ceremony in the church parlors. When the couple left on a wedding trip the bride wore a ruby red sheath dress with black accessories and a glamellia corsage in peach color. The bride was graduated from Western Illinois University, Macomb, where she was affiliated with Alpha Sigma Tau social sorority and Pi Omega Pi, national business education fraternity.

She will teach commerce in La Harpe, high school this fall. Mr. Stiegel will begin his junior year at Western Illinois University this fall. His social fraternity is Delta Sigma Phi. The couple will make their home in La Harpe.

Wed in St. Joseph's Church CALBRECHT STUDIO MR. AND MRS. JERROLD MICKLEWRIGHT were married Saturday morning in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Rock Island.

The bride is the former Mary Kay Lavery, daughter of Mrs. Aletha Lavery, 1711 Lincoln Rock Island, and the bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Micklewright, 1641 W. 17th Davenport.

C. Scott, 502 27th Moline, became the bride of Kenneth Miles Cary, Moline.

Mr. Cary is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil M. Cary, 124 13th Silvis.

The Rev. Charles H. Willey performed the ceremony before an; altar appointed with white gladioli, carnations and ferns. The bride was attired in a white floor length gown of Chantilly lace and nylon tulle styled with a sabrina neckline and molded bodice of lace. The front of the bouffant floor length skirt was made with a panel of cascaded ruffles, lace and tulle with a full lace overskirt.

The bride's headpiece held a fingertip veil and she carried a cascade arrangement of blue and white carnations, greenery and white ribbon. Miss Kay Olson was maid of honor, Miss Joyce Swick, bridesmaid, and Mrs. Eugene Coutteau, bridesmatron. The attendants wore identically styled dresses of crystallete made with scoop neckline, molded bodice and dropped waistline and featuring full skirt. The maid of honor's dress was in arcadia blue and the others were in tile blue.

They wore matching headbands and carried colonial bouquets of blue and white carnations. The flower girl, Elaine Ann Elli- son, Silvis, wore a frock of tile blue crystallette styled with a round neckline and trimmed with blue roses. Her half bonnet was also trimmed with roses and she carried a white basket filled with rose petals, The bride's mother chose a brown flecked silk shantung sheath dress with a matching jacket. The costume was accented with a mauve hat and brown accessories. Mrs.

Cary selected a navy blue voile dress with navy accessories. Both mothers wore corsages of white carnations. William Cary, Silvis, served his brother as best man and James Scott, Moline, brother of the bride, and Arthur DeDecker, Silvis, were ushers. After a reception in the fellowship hall of the church, the couple left on a wedding trip to Wisconsin. The bride wore a blue sheath dress with a matching jacket.

She used black accessories and wore a white carnation corsage. Upon their return they will reside at 4th Moline. Mrs. Cary is a graduate of Moline High School and is employed in the purchasing department of Deere and Co. A graduate of United Township High School, Mr.

Cary attended Moline Community College and will attend Augustana College this fall. He is employed by John Deere Harvester, East Moline. MR. AND MRS. KENNETH CARY Couple To Live in Elmhurst HAROLD VIA STUDIO MR.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. James Langan, 2841 Rock Island, and the late Mr. Langan, and Mr. Hafner is the son of Mrs. Paul Hafner, Villa Park, and the late Mr.

Mol. 2-5597 Carol Hayne Named Coyne Center Queen Miss Carol Hayne was chosen Coyne Center queen from a field of seven candidates at a box' social held in the old Coyne Center School Saturday night. Miss Hayne, who was sponsored by the Cub Scouts, was chosen on a point system. Each penny received in box lunch sales was good for a vote for the person's queen candidate. Miss Hayne received a trophy and several gifts from local merchants.

The new queen will ride in a Labor Day parade in the community, The Community Club sponsored the queen contest, first in the history of Coyne Center. Burglars Make House Foray At Geneseo GENESEO A break-in at the Frank Cathelyn residence at 438 E. South St. was reported to Geneseo police about 10:30 Saturday night.

Mr. Cathelyn was downtown about 10, and when he returned home he found a rear window screen had been cut to gain entrance, and some articles taken from the bedroom. Some small change on the dresser had not been disturbed. Mr. Cathelyn estimated the articles taken had a value of about $55.

Mrs. Hafner is a graduate of Alof leman High School and from St. Anne's Hospital school of nursing, Chicago. Mr. Hafner is attending DePaul University and is employed at the Adolph Kraft Foundation, Isotope Laboratory, Chicago.
